About the role:
This role is responsible for supporting Gerflor Australasia’s growth and brand awareness through sophisticated marketing and communication strategies, including the identification of market opportunities and the design & implementation of effective marketing tools, objectives, policies, and programs. You will collaborate with a supportive marketing team including Senior Marketing Specialists, Digital Communications and Environmental Specialists and the Marketing Director to drive campaigns that launch exciting flooring and wall covering products.
Key responsibilities:
- Organisation of new product launches, marketing content, promotional campaigns and industry relationships to increase brand awareness and market position.
- Ensure communication and content is fresh, unique, and follows brand guidelines.
- Work closely with segment, channel and sales managers to optimise target specific market tools.
- Support the coordination, communication and execution of go-to-market plans for new product launches.
- Coordinate the design of swatches, displays, brochures and flyers for Industry Expos.
- Planning of product training workshops for team members and customers.
- Research and stay abreast of interior design and specification trends.
- Support the Product Manager throughout the product development process.
- Monitor, analyse and report on marketing campaign effectiveness.
About You:
You are a passionate, visual and creative individual with experience working within the flooring, interior finishings, textiles or decorative building industry. You have a genuine interest in and good eye for design and know how to translate this into unique marketing concepts whilst paying attention to technical details. You are curious, adaptable and motivated to bring new ideas and add value to the business.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated experience driving sales growth through proactive campaigns and effective marketing tools
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Marketing, Business, Design) is preferred
- Understanding of architectural and interior design principles
- Knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing and the important role they play in driving reach and growth.
- Creative presentation and strong written and visual communication skills
- Sound working knowledge of Adobe suite
- Understanding of tool and campaign measurement
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
