Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton (opening later in 2025) is set deliver brand new standards of accommodation in Melbourne, a long-awaited addition to a historic, vibrant and innovative community in the north of the CBD. Crowne Plaza Adelaide Mawson Lakes is a brand new and exciting hotel commanding a great deal of success since opening in December 2024. A wonderful product and a vast array of customers across most sectors of travel.
Today Crowne Plaza is in 409 locations worldwide and growing, operating as one of the largest premium hotel brands in the world. 2025 marks a special year with the global relaunch of the brand inspired by customers looking for Crafted Connections, Purposeful Gatherings, & Blended Travel.
This newly created position will be working in close collaboration with the two hotels and supported by a wider IHG Portfolio Commercial structure.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
- Serve as a collaborative partner to all cluster hotels, delivering tailored marketing strategies that align with their unique needs and objectives
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and plans to deliver consistent branded messaging across all channels
- Identify and implement efficiencies in marketing processes, leveraging shared resources and tools to optimise outcomes
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing, to maximise reach and engagement
- Monitor market trends, guest feedback and competitor activities to refine strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Track and measure success rates of marketing strategies and regularly report on results to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with pre-opening teams to develop marketing assets and strategies tailored to the new hotel opening
- Work with the individual hotel leads to foster collaboration across functional reporting lines within the differing hotels, ensuring professional communication with all stake holders.
What we need from you:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior marketing role within the hospitality industry, preferably across multiple properties.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand management, and content creation, with a proven track record of delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing teams across diverse locations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and market research to drive informed marketing decisions.
