Responsible for developing and executing SJGHC’s transformational IT agenda including through a digital strategy.
Ensure that services, priorities and plans are developed in line with the organisation’s strategic and operational priorities and foster a strong performance culture across SJGHC Information Services.
Leadership & Operational Performance
Lead the development and stakeholder buy in to a transformational IT strategy, translating the business strategy into a clear set of technology strategy objectives.
Act as a change agent in partnership with divisional CEO’s and clinicians to ensure that the business strategy is aligned with the strategic priorities related to IT and transformational digital technologies.
Act as the primary and escalation point for the IT-division relationship, act as an advocate for technology in business discussions and ensure technology capabilities needed by the divisions are developed.
Lead the development of a transformational IT roadmap and execute initiatives with understanding of inter-division dependencies.
Embed a culture of innovation and change to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies for the IT function.
Drive and ensure smarter technology and digital investments across the organisation that will be required to support organisation transformation and change.
Maintain overall ownership for the delivery of transformational IT services that can help support the future needs of SJGHC.
Lead and manage the IT function, shaping the IT organisation in terms of the defined structure, roles and responsibilities.
Ensure IT meets all organisational and service level agreements.
Ensure effective management of risks, security and compliance.

Be an influential role model within the organisation for an exemplary service ethos.
Promote and encourage a culture of service excellence across all areas of SJGHC Information services.
Utilise internal and external survey data to drive and influence service delivery models and improvements.
