Job Description
The Commercial Products team manages a fleet of custom-built systems that perform critical functions for our Sales Operations, Traffic, Finance, and Presentation teams. These systems allow us to sell ads into our linear broadcast schedules and manage all revenue associated with broadcast.
Your expertise will help enhance our CRM capabilities and drive business efficiencies.
Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications in Salesforce media cloud
Collaborate other developers in the Commercial Products team to ensure changes, data models and integrations to other systems maintains a consistent level of technical standards set by the team.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to associate and mid level engineers.
Strong focus on security practices
Developing and maintaining system architecture and documentation
Participate in and, when required, facilitate team ceremonies
Work with other engineers to peer review code, work through problem-solving, advise on best practices and help to champion a high standard of excellent
Strong data management skills to ensure performant data operations and adherence to agreed data model designs.
Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases and industry trends to recommend enhancements and new features
Qualifications
Ideally, you are a seasoned senior engineer who is comfortable managing complexity at scale and is comfortable driving iterative work and continuous improvement.
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer with proven expertise in Salesforce development.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs, integrations, and data modeling
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
DevOps principles and practices
Excellent understanding of Agile principles
Desirable
Experience working with various industry clouds (Health Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, etc.)
Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Architect, etc.) are highly desirable.
