Job Description
We have an exciting vacancy in our North Sydney office for an Associate Software Engineer with the 9Now Native CTV (Connected TV) team.
You’ll be joining Nine Streaming at a time of growth and will begin work in a team responsible for the 9Now Native CTV applications on Apple TVOS, AndroidTV and FireTV, which make up a key part of the streaming audience, reaching millions of viewers with our award winning content.
Qualifications

You’re a recent graduate or professional with a little experience under your belt. You have a passion for coding, problem solving and working in a team. When assigned a task you’ll ask clarifying questions when needed and can work independently or collaboratively depending on what is required. Maybe you only consider yourself proficient in a handful of technologies but your curiosity and passion for learning is what drives you to master more. You thrive when working in a team and happily contribute to team goals, discussions and improvements. You want to work for a big tech organisation on the latest tech stack because you know this is where you will be able to learn from others and become a better software engineer.
What we would like to see on your resume:
Recent graduate or professional
Comfortable with JavaScript,TypeScript, NodeJS, React.
Experience working with React Native
Experience or a keen interest in native app code such as Kotlin or Swift
Knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud computing
Have used Git or other version control tools
Familiar with the Software Delivery Life Cycle
Great verbal and written communication skills
Eager learner with a curious mindset
Team player
