Role Purpose
Aesop is seeking an analytical and innovative Senior NetSuite Developer to join for 12-months operating with a hybrid working pattern, based at our global head office in Collingwood.
Reporting into the Engineering Lead – NetSuite, you will work on key ICT and functional business projects concurrently. These projects aim to provide business analytics and technical solutions designed to integrate key systems, improve processes, and automate data exchange.
In this role, you will also provide assistance to the ICT helpdesk function for specialized problem solving and troubleshooting across critical Head Office, Aesop Retail, and subsidiary locations.
Some things you may find yourself doing
- Solve and troubleshoot in a fast paced, user focused environment in a collaborative or independent manner.
- Develop new solutions and debug errors on the NetSuite platform and integrated systems using scripts, workflows, searches, webservices, etc.
- Proactively monitor and maintain system performance and transactional integrity to support business operations.
- Provide strong business analytics skills, assessing problems or areas of improvement within the business that can be enhanced or solved through technical solutions.
- Document requirements and solutions implemented for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of key business functions, with a focus on Supply Chain and Finance processes.
- Communicate and explain technical terms and processes to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Work with end users to build and update reports and saved searches to meet business requirements.
- Assist business functions with end-to-end testing of key projects and initiatives. Preparation and validation of test scripts.
- Provide end user support and training to new and existing staff to ensure effective on-boarding and correct use of core business systems and procedures.
- Coordinate with external software vendors to perform investigations and assist in providing solutions.
What we are looking for
- Considerable NetSuite Developer experience working within an Agile environment; highly advantageous if within a Retail or manufacturing industry
- Well-versed and experienced in developing, scripting, and deploying solutions on the NetSuite platform
- Possess a strong understanding of relational databases and have an advanced working knowledge of SQL queries
- A great communicator, both written and verbal and be well versed in explaining technical information to non-technical people
- Have the ability to work on one, or several, ICT projects as required whilst providing strong business analytics skills assessing risks or areas of improvement that can be solved through technical solutions
- Thrive on solving problems and the process of continuous improvement
- Demonstrate initiative, agility, resilience, and patience, and have a sense of ownership for solutions built and delivered
- Most of all, a curiosity to learn from others and develop your own skills
