An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Analytics & Optimisation Manager to join our Ticketek team based in Sydney.

The Role
Ticketek operates one of the most advanced ecommerce platforms in Australia, underpinned by one of the largest 1st party data sets. In addition, the latest marketing technology, and an advanced data science and analytics team, have seen us deliver hyper personalisation and machine learning capabilities.
We are now seeking an experienced Digital Analytics & Optimisation Manager. This individual will analyse website and sales data to identify trends, optimise customer experience, and maximize revenue growth. By providing actionable insights, the Digital Analytics Manager contributes to the overall digital strategy and helps steer initiatives aimed at improving conversion, retention, and user engagement.

The Person
As the Digital Analytics Manager you will be responsible for:
Performance Analysis & Insights
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data across Ticketek’s ecommerce platforms (e.g., website, app, marketing channels) to uncover trends and key insights that inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, including traffic, conversion rates, cart abandonment, funnel analysis, and other performance metrics.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify areas for optimisation in the online customer journey.
- Derive and circulate data-driven insights to inform UX and digital development streams
- Action insights from our DX Intelligence platform to reduce customer friction points and prioritise our optimisation efforts
Performance Reporting
- Provide regular performance reports and presentations to key stakeholders, including sales performance, customer behaviour insights, and campaign effectiveness.
- Work with cross-functional teams to set and track goals, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Implement performance tracking of new products to understand customer impact
Customer Experience Optimization:
- Collaborate with UX, digital marketing, and product teams to enhance the online research and buying experience and increase conversion rates.
- Work closely with the Product Owner of our UX stream to test and inform future state UI and UX
- Utilize A/B testing and multivariate testing to determine the impact of various design, content, and product placement changes on user behaviour.
- Identify pain points in the user journey and recommend strategies to improve customer engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor ecommerce trends and competitive landscape to keep the team informed of best practices, emerging tools, and potential opportunities.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on market analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with marketing, product, IT, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless, data-informed approach to customer engagement.
- Manage the relationship with our external analytics and CRO agencies
Essential experiences & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in analytics within an ecommerce or digital marketing environment.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Fullstory) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in SQL, Python, or R preferred.
- Proven track record of using data to drive business growth and customer experience improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex data insights to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
