About the team
The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. What you’ll do
We’re looking for a high-performing, strategic thinker to join our SME & Growth team as an Inbound Sales Representative. This role goes beyond traditional sales — we want someone with strong sales skills, but also eager to analyse the funnel, identify inefficiencies, and drive scalable improvements.
You will own the end-to-end journey for inbound leads — qualifying, converting, and activating small business customers. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously optimise the sales and onboarding funnel using data and insights.
This is an opportunity for someone who’s commercially sharp, customer-obsessed, and excited to contribute both tactically and strategically in a high-growth fintech environment.

Experience working with data, sales metrics, and/or CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)

Minimum qualifications

1-2+ years’ track record of success in sales

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong interest in technology and/or financial services

Self-starter who can operate in a hyper-growth environment

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferable but not mandatory experience with Excel, Salesforce and SQL
