The Brand & Marketing Coordinator role is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic individual to play a key role in shaping the Tasmania Football Club’s (TFC) brand identity and marketing presence. About the Role
As TFC builds its foundation, the Brand & Marketing Coordinator will lead execution of marketing campaigns and projects across multiple platforms. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies, this role will ensure a consistent and engaging brand experience for members, fans, and partners. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of marketing project coordination, creativity, strategic thinking, and technical skills to enhance the Club’s brand presence and grow its supporter base.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive fan engagement, membership growth, and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to create integrated marketing strategies that align with TFC’s vision and values.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep TFC’s marketing efforts innovative and impactful.
• Assist in coordinating events, activations, and community engagement initiatives to strengthen the Club’s connection with its fanbase.
• Manage and maintain a streamlined project workflow, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Requirements
• A tertiary qualification in marketing, design, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in brand management and marketing coordination (preferably within the sports or entertainment industry).
• Ability to think strategically and execute creative marketing initiatives that align with brand objectives.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders.
• A passion for sports, particularly AFL, and an understanding of the role marketing plays in building fan loyalty and engagement.
• Experience with social media management and content creation.
