Our Graduate Program
Our goal is to build you up for success. Our 2-year Graduate Program is designed to provide you with comprehensive training and development opportunities.
You will have the chance to work in a core business unit and explore different areas of our organisation through rotations.
Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to gain experience in another division, enabling you to broaden your understanding of our operations and develop versatile skills.
At the end of the program, you will move into a permanent role at AusNet, aligned with your skills, capability, and chosen career pathway.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to put your digital expertise to use. As a Graduate of our Digital stream, you will develop, maintain and operate a range of digital products and platforms, assist in data analytics, support cyber security initiatives, work with and evaluate emerging technologies which could impact our business, and support and manage digital projects across multiple work streams.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Prepare documentation including project plans, user guides & technical specifications
- Manage internal stakeholder relationships by promptly responding to queries
- Analyse various data for trends to inform decision-making
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities and responding to security incidents
- Update digital and technology policies ensuring compliance and relevance
- Support pilot projects and evaluate new technologies
- Coordination and manage technology projects ensuring on time delivery
Qualifications
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C# or similar
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular or Vue.Js) is a plus
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or similar
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices

To be eligible to apply for our Digital Graduate Program, you will have full working rights in Australia, and have graduated in 2024 or graduate by December 2025, with a degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering, or a relatable field.
