About the Role
As our Marketing and Communications Lead, you will provide strategic leadership for all marketing and communications activities across Medcast, reporting directly to the Co-CEO Commercial. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance our brand awareness, drive engagement across all customer segments, and support our ambitious growth objectives.
You’ll play a key role in communicating Medcast’s evolution into a next-generation learning platform, ensuring our marketing strategy effectively showcases our modular architecture, AI-enhanced learning capabilities, and EMR integrations to both clinical and institutional users.
This leadership position includes direct management of a Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator, with responsibility for building team capabilities to support our marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
As the Marketing and Communications Lead, you will primarily be responsible for:
- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Leading brand positioning and messaging across all customer segments
- Overseeing content development across all digital and print channels
- Partnering with Product and Platform teams to launch new products and features
- Leading external communications including press releases, media relations, and industry events
- Managing, mentoring, and developing a marketing team of direct reports
- Establishing KPIs and providing regular reporting on marketing performance
- Crafting messaging that bridges technical innovation and clinical utility for varied audiences
- Supporting the development of user-led community engagement strategies
- Collaborating cross-functionally to align marketing with content development initiatives
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Progressive marketing experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Strong strategic thinking with exceptional execution and communication skills
- Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies
- Understanding of healthcare and/or education marketing regulations
- Analytical mindset to evaluate marketing effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
- Project management and budget management experience
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various departments
- Experience in healthcare or education industries (preferred)
