Associate, Digital Content
- Expression of Interests to join Hospitality and Racing, a division within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport
- Clerk Grade 7/8 with a salary range of $110,266 up to $122,058 pa
- Temporary 2-week opportunity based in Sydney, NSW
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse and challenging environment with a supportive and dynamic team. The role plays a key part in delivering integrated, customer-focused communications across multiple platforms and systems. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll provide vital support in delivering digital content that promotes clarity, consistency, and accessibility. You will work closely with stakeholders to maintain and enhance our digital presence, manage day-to-day content updates, and contribute to the success of digital projects across the division.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Administering the Liquor & Gaming NSW website by completing content updates and managing stakeholder approvals
- Delivering timely updates that align with NSW Government standards and optimise use experience
- Managing the workflow of business-as-usual (BAU) digital requests to meet deadlines
- Supporting Digital projects through research, documentation, reporting and performance analysis
- Contributing to communication strategies and collateral that meet accessibility and design requirements

About You
You’re an agile communicator with a passion for delivering digital content that puts users first. You enjoy juggling priorities, solving problems and collaborating with others to deliver quality outcomes.
You will bring:
- Experience using website content management systems such as Squiz Matrix and/or Drupal
- Strong coordination, planning and reporting skills across digital content and communications
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
- Confidence in engaging stakeholders and working across teams
- A strong understanding of accessibility, usability and NSW Government digital principles
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience in media/communications/engagement/journalism/marketing or other related area.
