The primary focus of this appointment is to further strengthen the Digital and Technology Advisory capability and take advantage of consulting opportunities in Enterprise Architecture.
The purpose of the role will be to help clients make the bridge to modern technologies to improve business operations. Working as an integral part of the Consulting team in Sydney, this role will be critical in driving growth, innovation, and execution in Digital & Technology with a focus on IT strategy, cloud transition and application modernisation.
We're looking for a highly experienced Manager to be based in Sydney working within enterprise architecture modernisation enabled by cloud technologies, data, and integration.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Participate in the development of target state architecture and solutions through new projects and initiatives
- Create transition plans that define the steps for how to move from the "current state" to the "future state" architecture
- Provide architectural inputs into optimising digital investments and ensure design requirements reflect patterns for re-use
- Engage with solution and technology enablement teams to provide support on enterprise architecture principles, reference architecture templates, design patterns uptake, solution architecture principles
- Review and validate advice provided on solutions development to technical and non-technical audiences
- Effectively communicate security advice to diverse stakeholders, including Heads of Technology, Technology Leads, Enterprise Architects Engineers, and Designers
- Assess current architecture, identify gaps, and propose improvements that drive efficiency, innovation, and cost-effectiveness
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies to support the organisation's overall IT strategy
- Lead client engagements, supported by day-to-day managers, acting as a key contact and relationship owner with senior stakeholders
- Grow and develop a high performing team, as well as transferring knowledge and skills to broader staff
About you
Ideally, you’ll come from a tech consulting background and passionate to work with clients.You’ll have a strong internal drive, a growth mindset and a genuine desire to build a long-term and meaningful career within our industry.
Combined with:
- Experience working as senior technical analyst or senior technical business analyst within a well-regarded consulting firm, or large corporate environment
- Experience working on at least 2-3 large IT implementations with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, Billing, Case Management, etc.)
- Basic understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks
- Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) to design and implement scalable and sustainable architecture solution
- Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS or similar), will be highly regarded
- Experience in creation and maintenance of architecture artifacts
- Demonstrated capability in developing team members both in work quality and in role modelling values
- Keen to step into an architecture role
