Your opportunity

We’re looking for a Digital Communications Adviser to manage Council's web content, intranet, and social media. You'll play a key role in ensuring our online presence is accurate, accessible, and up-to-date, providing professional web, social media, and videography expertise to support Council's communication goals.

In this role, you’ll provide technical support and administration for content management systems, manage complex document conversions, and create digital assets like videos and sound clips. You'll troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring Council’s digital tools operate smoothly and efficiently.

You’ll also train Council officers in creating and maintaining web content, offering ongoing support to meet communications needs. You will maintain a professional digital presence for Council, support consistent content delivery, and provide insightful reports to guide decision-making.

Demonstrated achievement in implementing, configuring and administering extensive and complex large government web and intranet sites.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working effectively with stakeholders.
Demonstrated achievement in delivering user training to non-technical staff.
Well-developed analytical skills and proven technical knowledge of a digital environment, digital platforms and software integration.
Highly developed coordination skills, including the ability to plan and meet urgent deadlines.
Experience in developing innovative digital ideas and concepts, project plans and managing projects.

Eligibility

You'll have a C Class drivers licence.
