Our NSW office is seeking a skilled and innovative Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the One Control Platform, a groundbreaking platform enabling universal configuration across hardware from multiple manufacturers or virtual machines. Your primary responsibilities will include expanding the module library, developing operational manuals, and delivering scalable solutions that align with customer needs and company objectives. This role is ideal for a proactive developer passionate about software solutions, integration, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Integration: Design, develop, and implement software modules to expand the One Control platform’s library, ensuring seamless integration across multiple hardware and virtual environments.
Programming & Technical Expertise: Utilize programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, and HTML to create robust, scalable solutions, and develop APIs for interoperability.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, debug technical issues, and work with the quality assurance team to ensure software reliability and performance.
Documentation & User Support: Create comprehensive operational manuals and user-friendly documentation to support internal and external stakeholders.
Research & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies, programming practices, and AV system advancements, identifying opportunities to integrate new features that enhance the platform.
Customer-Centric Development: Align development activities with customer needs, ensuring intuitive and impactful solutions that address user requirements.
Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, network engineers, and quality assurance teams to meet project goals.
Continuous Improvement: Gather stakeholder feedback and implement enhancements to optimise performance, user experience, and business objectives.

Key Experience & Capabilities

Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or a similar technical role.
Expertise in developing, debugging, and testing software for integrated systems.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, and HTML.
Experience with API development, integration, and network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP).
Certifications in programming, networking, or AV technologies (e.g., CTS, Crestron, Cisco) are a plus.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
