This role will lead the development of our flagship CMS product, with accountability for delivering a program of enhancements and improvements. We’re looking for someone with extremely strong PL/SQL programming skills and experience working in an agile development environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in PL/SQL programming, Oracle Database, Forms and Linux systems.

We’re looking for an accountable leader who can, with the support and assistance of the team, take ownership of delivering a world class software solution to our customers.

Experience working with financial systems and data is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Lead delivery of the CMS software product program, using lean agile project and consulting methodologies.
Conduct requirements gathering, making recommendations to contribute to successful client outcomes.
Undertake solution design to address client requirements and translate client requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Develop customisations and enhancements of the CMS product based on approved technical specification.
Ensure integrity of data and adequate system performance for developed solutions; plan and conduct unit testing.
Provide support and technical assistance to clients including problem analysis, troubleshooting and testing of the CMS platform.
Provide quality documentation and reporting in relation to all assignments.
Actively manage service delivery and internal and external stakeholder communication, identifying and escalating risks to manager where appropriate.
Build strong relationships with team members and manage work outputs and team performance.
Build good client relationships; be accessible and communicate regularly.
Develop in-depth knowledge of the CMS product and deliver technical training as needed.

Skill and Experience Required

Extremely strong Oracle PL/SQL Development & Application Design experience
Extremely strong Oracle Forms experience
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Web development experience (Javascript, XML, Rest API) advantageous
Linux scripting experience desirable
System integration experience is an advantage
At least 5 years' experience with software design and implementation
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Excellent analytical skills; creative and critical thinking with the ability to make decisions on the job to achieve project outcomes.
Excellent communication skills (high level of written and verbal English) with experience consulting to external clients.
Ability to travel to and work at central team sessions, client sites if required; some overseas travel may be required at times.
Organised, with ability to work under pressure and deliver to project deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a project team.
Experience with financial contract management an advantage
