With a strong online presence and thriving wholesaler network, they are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead the team in a very exciting growth phase of their company.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a team of three, and will play a crucial role in developing and implementing high-impact marketing strategies to accelerate online sales, enhance brand awareness, and expand their customer base.

We are seeking a true leader and strategic digital marketer with a strong ecommerce and data analytics background that understands what is needed to engage the market and deliver results for the business. You will be experienced in formulating and delivering on digital marketing strategy, absolutely love data analytics and crunching the numbers to deliver results, and you will have a sound knowledge of social media, web and ecommerce. You will lead and develop the marketing team, be decisive, strategic, systemised, have strong skills in coordinating resources. You are also the type of person that gets a real sense of pride in seeing results from the effort you put in.

What you will be doing in the role:

Strategic Leadership - Developing and executing a results-driven e-commerce marketing strategy aligned with business goals as well as leading the team to achieve sales and growth targets across digital platforms
E-commerce Growth - Driving online revenue through effective digital marketing strategies, including liaising with SEO and SEM agencies, email marketing, paid social, influencer collaborations and optimisation of their online store platform
Membership Marketing & Retention - Developing and implementing a comprehensive membership marketing strategy to attract and retain loyal customers
Campaign & Budget Management - Planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on conversions and ROI on budget
Brand & Community Engagement - Developing and implementing brand-building initiatives and content marketing strategies to increase audience engagement and building customer loyalty and advocacy
Public Relations & Partnerships - Identifying opportunities for PR activities, events, sponsorships and collaborations that can increase brand awareness
Innovation & Trend Monitoring - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging marketing tools, and digital innovations that can enhance marketing efforts
Data Analytics - Analysing data from the ecommerce platform as well as from campaigns, identifying customer trends, sales and lead conversions and providing accurate reporting to assist in improved business outcomes and marketing spend
Creating innovative campaigns and streamline of processes for all online/offline and social media marketing activities
Audit/manage external digital agencies regarding SEO, SEM to ensure ROI and budgets meet business goals

Requirements for the role include:

Significant marketing experience in ecommerce as well as a strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a team
Preferable to have experience in the health, wellness or GMCG industry, but not essential
Hands-on experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and CRM systems to drive automation and personalised marketing
A sound understanding of business and customer buying patterns and very strong data analysis and reporting skills
Proven track record of developing and executing successful online marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth
Exceptional project management skills to handle multiple priorities with a strategic mindset
Familiarity with influencer marketing and community-building strategies
Experience working with external agencies for PPC, SEO and analysing reports
Adaptable and innovative, and on the pulse of the latest trends
Strategic, hands on and results driven, with a passion for continuous improvement
