The Role

As the leader of our in house ‘creative agency’ the Senior Digital Designer plays a key role within our Marketing team and Connective. With exceptional operations skills, you will be responsible for leading a team to develop all design and video content for the business across a range of brands and channels.

As a custodian of the brand, the Senior Digital Designer will develop, establish and maintain Connective’s print and video design style guides to ensure consistency and continuous improvement. Other accountabilities include but not limited to:

Manage workflow of the design team, from briefing to execution
Develop and implement design workflow process including creating required documentation and developing and maintaining trafficking process
PowerPoint Presentation design
Sales collateral design (print and digital)
Corporate branding and promotional display design and production (for events and expos)
Email and social media design
Logo design
Video and webinar production and editing
Photography (at events, of staff and for sales material)
Oversee, coach and support a team of onsite and remote Digital Designers in line with business and individuals’ development goals
Website design and maintenance
Maintenance of digital asset files

The Person

As an experienced multimedia designer, you will be a reliable and motivated self-starter with a broad design skill set, including an aptitude for learning new technologies, a curiosity for AI-assisted creative tools and an appetite for improving the creative workflow. Your thorough understanding of print and web design fundamentals, best practice and ability to take designs across multiple digital formats and platforms will see you succeed in this role.

You will also possess:

At least 6 years’ experience within a similar role
Strong experience utilising Adobe CS5 Suite: Premier, After effect, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Canva, Affinity
Strong conceptual and creative design skills
Exceptional operational, workflow and art trafficking skills
Strong understanding of creative team workflow processes
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
